What happens if you put diesel in a regular car?
By Forinfos - 16/11/2025 - 0 comments
Driving a regular car after putting diesel in it can cause severe engine damage. When the car's fuel injectors fill with the diesel, they fail to ignite the spark plugs.
If the spark plugs fail to ignite, the engine will not receive the spark it needs to turn over. If a person fills the car with diesel and realizes it right away, he or she should not drive the car. It is vital to promptly call a tow truck and have the vehicle moved to a local repair shop. A mechanic can flush the fuel system to prevent damage to the engine and components.
