A Hatco booster heater is an industrial electric or gas booster heater manufactured by Hatco that provides 180-degrees-Fahrenheit final rinse water, which is used for sanitizing purposes in commercial kitchens. It is designed to effectively remove food residue and provide clean, rapid self-drying dishware.
A gas Hatco booster heater comes equipped with a shock absorber, a finned tube cooper heat exchanger and a blended phosphate water treatment system. An electric Hatco heater, however, comes equipped with, a pressure temperature relief valve and gauges, a high-temperature limit control and a low-water cut-off that prevents element burnout as a result of a low water condition.
