What is a patient satisfaction survey?
By Forinfos - 24/02/2026 - 0 comments
A patient satisfaction survey is a tool used by a health care facility to assess the quality of services it provides to patients. Hospitals and doctor's offices may present such surveys after each patient visit or as a follow-up to a first visit.
Poor patient service may lead to patients leaving the practice as well as other negative consequences, and therefore the goal of the survey is to determine the overall level of patient satisfaction and to identify specific areas for improvement in service delivery. Based on the results, administrators or operators of the practice may change procedures, retrain staff or address other facets of the survey experience that cause problems.
