What are the Hebrew names for Jesus?
By Forinfos - 28/10/2025 - 0 comments
Common Hebrew names for the son of God include Adonai, Malakh Melitz, Aleph v'Tav and Ha-Mashiach. Less common Hebrew names that are believed to refer to Jesus include Rosh Vasaf, Lechem Elohim and Chatan.
In that order, the common names mean "I am," "advocate," "alpha and omega" or "beginning and end" and "anointed one." The less common names, in order, mean "beginning and end," "bread of God" and "bridegroom." All of these names were taken out of the Brit Chadashah, an Orthodox Jewish document, and are referenced by the Bible in such books as the four gospels, including most in John.
