What six new countries formed as a result of WWI?

Six new countries that formed as a direct result of WWI were Poland, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Estonia. The countries were formed after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire, the House of Habsburg and the German empire.

Along with the creation of new countries, the aftermath of WWI included the radical changing of boundaries within Europe, granting increased land to some and removing territories from others. The Treaty of Neuilly took land from Bulgaria and granted it to Greece, the Treaty of Trianon removed land from Hungary and gave it to Romania and Czechoslovakia and the Treaty of Sevres split the former Ottoman Empire up between Greece, Armenia, Palestine, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
