What is the Slowpoke Well?

The Slowpoke Well is a cave in the Johto region of Generation II and IV Pokémon games. The Slowpoke Well is located in Azalea Town.

The player can't access the Slowpoke Well until she speaks to Kurt in his house. After the player speaks to Kurt, he runs towards the cave, falls into the well and clears the way for the player to enter.

When the player first enters the Slowpoke Well, she encounters Team Rocket Grunts who are attempting to harvest Slowpoke tails. The player must defeat Team Rocker's Executive Proton to rescue Kurt and save the Slowpokes from having their tails harvested.
