A marguerite daisy looks similar to the shasta daisy, except that the marguerite has a more shrubby form and is mounded, according to Better Homes and Gardens. It comes in pink and white, with the pink form looking like purple coneflower.
The Marguerite daisy is an annual that prefers full to partial sun and cool weather. Its optimal blooming time is during the spring and fall, but it does have some summer flowers. The Marguerite daisy grows up to three feet high and one to two feet wide. It is a good choice as a cut flower and for containers. Birds are attracted to marguerite daisies.
