What is Hoodia 1000?
By Forinfos - 28/12/2025 - 0 comments
Hoodia 1000 is a pill that comes from the Hoodia gordonii, a South African species of plant that supposedly suppresses the appetite of the user, according to WebMD. Since it was marketed as a dietary supplement, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not tested this claim to be true.
There is little in the way of published scientific proof for Hoodia. While the American Botanical Council, a nonprofit research organization, claims it has some evidence to back up the claims, there is a lack of anything conclusive. A similar study was done at the Mayo Clinic where no conclusive evidence was found on the appetite suppression claims, reports WedMD.
