Why do humans have eyebrows?

Eyebrows are significant to humans because of their physical and psychological functions. They prevent small objects, moisture and dust from falling into the eyes and detect objects closer to the eyes. In addition, the various shapes the eyebrows form on a person's face depict his feelings.
The eyebrows have a curved shape with a sharp end to direct moisture, such as sweat and rain, away from the eye. This makes the moisture flow along the nose and away from the eyes. Eyebrows also have ridges that help shade the eyes from sunlight and dust.
The shapes of the eyebrows help in non-verbal communication. They assist in facilitating expressions and communication.
