What does an inside dryer vent do?
By Forinfos - 29/05/2025 - 0 comments
An inside dryer vent removes heat exhaust from the dryer when a vent outside the home is impossible or impractical. By installing a hose from the back of the dryer to the inside dryer vent, heat is recirculated and reduced, and vent discharge is captured.
Inside dryer vents perform the same function as outside vents. Apartments or other dwellings without a readily available outside wall often vent the dryer through the attic. This process necessitates the use of a long hose, which can create a fire hazard if lint builds up in the hose. Using an inside dryer vent reduces the length of the hose and the potential fire hazard.
