Why is insulation used in a dishwasher?
By Forinfos - 06/06/2025 - 0 comments
Insulation is often placed around dishwashers in kitchens in order to reduce noise levels. While running, dishwashers can be very loud, so insulation is placed around them in order to keep houses and kitchens quiet.
Noise reduction or sound insulation packages may be an added cost for some dishwashers. If the dishwasher is going to be placed in a kitchen island or peninsula that is not connected to a wall, or the kitchen is in a bedroom or living area, then an insulation package should be considered. Insulation packages may also be considered for people who live in condominiums or townhouses with very thin walls or floors.
