What is the intent of the Game of Life?

The purpose of the Game of Life is to simulate a person's major life events, such as college, marriage and retirement. The winner of the game is the player who has the largest amount of money once everyone has reached the end of the board.

The amount of money obtained by the player depends on the decisions he takes during the game. For example, at the beginning of the game, the player faces the option of starting a career or going to college first. If the player decides to go to college first, he needs to take out a loan, which initially puts the player at a financial disadvantage compared to those who choose to start a career immediately. However, going to college allows the player to later access careers that pay more lucratively. Similar decisions are made by the player in family planning and house hunting.
