The Internal Revenue Service maintains a database of easily accessible tax forms and publications for current and prior tax forms on its website, IRS.gov. The forms are located under the Forms & Pubs tab located on the website’s home page.
The Forms & Pubs tab lists featured forms and publications for both individuals and businesses, according to IRS.gov. These include standard forms such as Form 1040, Form W-4 and Form W-9 for individuals and Form W-2, Form 1099-MISC and Form SS-4 for businesses. Taxpayers can search for additional forms using the Search tab or access prior year forms by clicking on the Prior Year tab.
