iShares Canada is an exchange trade fund run by Blackrock, Inc., according to iShares.com. The fund invests in shares of large and mid-cap Canadian companies.
The iShares Canada ETF is currently tracked on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NDDUCA, states iShares.com. It was established in 1996 and targets investment holdings in 85 percent of the Canadian market. In 2012, Blackrock established a companion iShares fund for investing in small-cap companies. It is tracked under NCUDCA.
As of 2015, major holdings of iShares Canada include the Royal Bank of Canada, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Toronto-Dominion Bank and Bank of Nova Scotia, according to iShares.com.
