Where was Jaguar made?

In 1922, Bill Lyons and William Walmsley founded Jaguar in Blackpool, England. The company originally started out as Swallow Sidecar Company, but in 1933, it changed its name to SS Cars Ltd. The first vehicle to carry the Jaguar name was the SS Jaguar 100 in 1935.
Following World War II, in order to avoid association with the Nazi organization that bore the same initials, Jaguar dropped the "SS" from its name. The first post-war Jaguar was 1948's Mark V, with the XK 120 joining it later that year. The XK 120, a sports car, was the fastest production automobile of its time, and its popularity helped Jaguar become a strong presence in the sports car market.
