Who is Janet Paschal?

Janet Paschal is an inspirational gospel writer and vocalist. Paschal has been an independent artist since 1986; her 1997 album, "The Good Road," firmly established her in the gospel music sphere.

Janet Paschal has had 16 solo albums and has received several Grammy and Dove award nominations. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, the Grand Old Opry and the Sydney Opera House.

In 2005, Paschal was diagnosed with breast cancer; after 11 months of treatment, she was told that she was free of cancer. Following her successful treatment, she released an album of hymns; proceeds went toward cancer research.
