What is Johnny Walker Red Label?
By Forinfos - 17/06/2025 - 0 comments
Johnnie Walker Red Label refers to a specific blend of Scotch whisky originating from a Walker family recipe in Scotland. The Red Label blend includes both light whiskies from the eastern coast of Scotland and dark whiskies from the western coast.
In addition to blending light and dark whiskies, Johnnie Walker Red Label is also easily recognizable by the distinctive bottle. When the Walker family first began exporting their blend more than 100 years ago, a member of the family designed a square bottle instead of the traditional round bottle. This bottle and the slightly angled label continue to distinguish Johnnie Walker Red Label from other whisky brands.
