Some of the products that can be listed through Kijiji include cars, pets, tickets, electronics and computers, and real estate and vacation rentals.

Kijiji also hosts listings for community activities, events, job listings, resumes and personal ads. Kijiji was launched in the province of Montreal in February of 2005 and has since expanded to over 100 cities throughout Canada. The company states that the Kijiji website is used by approximately 40 percent of all Canadians every month.
