"Greased Lightning" was a 1948 Ford Deluxe convertible. Two separate cars appeared as "Greased Lightning" in the movie "Grease," one red with white lightning bolts and one white with silver lightning bolts.

"Grease," which was released in 1978, tells the story of two star-crossed teen lovers. The musical stars John Travolta as Danny Zuko and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson. The pair fall in love over the summer only to find themselves at the same school, and in very different social circles, come fall. "Greased Lightning" appears several times in the movie, but most famously during the musical number of the same name and the finale.
