What kind of issues does GRIP cellphone insurance cover?

GRIP cellphone insurance covers accidental damage, loss, theft and malfunction (after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty) of a mobile device. Policies are issued by Cell Brokerage LLC, and are sold through wireless device retailers. Claims are subject to a deductible and limited to two per year.

Devices covered are cellphones, wireless home phones, notebooks and tablets. Customers can make claims by reporting the loss or damage online on the company's website. The company sends a like-new replacement of a similar value, but cannot guarantee an identical piece of equipment. A policy may be cancelled in writing or by telephoning Cell Brokerage LLC.
