What kind of warranty should you place on the sale of a baby fox?
By Forinfos - 28/02/2026 - 0 comments
A warranty for a baby fox can include a refund if a veterinarian finds the fox ill or congenitally deformed within seven to 14 days after purchase, depending on state laws. Sellers may not intentionally misrepresent the baby fox's condition, and they must follow the laws in their states.
Sellers who are also breeders or pet store owners also must follow the federal Uniform Commercial Code, which governs all business transactions in the United States. Only 15 states allow a person to own a fox legally, as of 2015, and buyers must perform due diligence to determine if they can legally have a baby fox in their homes, based on state and local regulations.
