How is KISS makeup applied?

To achieve a face like that of the members of the rock 'n' roll band KISS, first cover the face in white makeup. Next, add a black design, corresponding with the desired band member.

Kiss member Paul Stanley is known for his white face and black star eye. His concert look is easy to achieve.

Step 1: Wash face

Using an astringent and a cotton ball, make sure the face is clean and free of oil.

Step 2: Apply base makeup

Cover the entire face with thick white makeup.

Step 3: Create the star

Make an outline of a star around the eye and fill in with black makeup.

Step 4: Clean up edges and finish lips

Tidy up the outline of the star and around the lips. Add red lipstick to complete the look.
