What is the Korean Air baggage allowance?

Korean Air's baggage allowance policies differ according to the class of seat purchased as well as the travel route being used. An economy-class passenger travelling from North America or Transpacific regions, for example, is allowed two pieces of luggage weighing no more than 50 pounds each.

Korean Air travelers on the Asia-to-Europe routes are further restricted, with the maximum weight allowance for economy-class passengers limited to only 44 pounds. By comparison, a first-class passenger on the same route is allowed to carry up to 88 pounds of luggage. Travelers carrying sports equipment are charged an excess fee due to different handling requirements and fragility.
