Lady Liberty coins are coins that feature an image of Lady Liberty on either the obverse or reverse side. Many U.S. coins feature Lady Liberty, including the Bust half dollar, minted from 1796 to 1839; the Seated Liberty half dollar, produced from 1839 to 1891; and the Barber half dollar.
Minted from 1916 to 1947, the Walking Liberty half dollar features a full figure of Lady Liberty on the obverse side. A commemorative coin in 1986 features the Statue of Liberty for its 100th anniversary. In 1997, the mint added an image of Lady Liberty to the American Eagle platinum coins.
