The original 1979 movie "Caligula" has a run time of 115 minutes. There is a re-cut version that runs for 123 minutes and an R-rated version that runs for 102 minutes. The version that was released in the U.S. on Feb 15, 1980, has a run time of 156 minutes.

"Caligula" is a movie about the rise and fall of Rome's Caesar, Gaius Germanicus Caligula. The movie stars actors Malcolm McDowell, Teresa Ann Savoy, Guido Mannari, John Gielgud and Peter O'Toole, as well as Helen Mirren and Mirella D'Angelo. The film was directed by Tinto Brass and written by Gore Vidal.
