Is a Lennox furnace as good as Goodman furnace?

Goodman furnaces are superior products to Lennox furnaces, according to furnace review website FurnaceCompare. While both manufacturers produce models rated as top-ten furnaces of 2014, Goodman furnaces came in at first and third place, but Lennox products placed eighth and ninth.

The Lennox furnaces in the top ten of 2014 were the SLP98V and Merit models. While the SLP98V was recognized as one of the most efficient furnaces of 2014 by the Department of Energy's Energy Star program, reviewers felt the overall feature set of the Goodman GMVC95 and GMH95 models was superior, even with their slightly lower efficiency scores.
