What level does Elekid evolve?

Elekid evolves into Elecatbuzz at level 30. It maintains its electric type through all its evolutions and has an extra evolution that is available only through trading.

Elekids can be found in all Generation 2 Pokémon games after "Pokémon Gold" and "Pokémon Silver," but is more commonly obtained via trading, either with NPCs or other trainers. Once Elekid has evolved into Electabuzz, it can be traded to another trainer while holding an electirizer. Doing this causes it to evolve into its final form, Electivire. However, this evolution option is only available in games after Generation 4 Pokémon, such as "Pokémon Platinum" and "Pokémon Pearl."
