The cruise ship Liberty of the Seas made her maiden voyage, a seven-day Caribbean cruise sailing from Miami, Florida, on May 19, 2007. Prior to this, she had made two pre-inaugural cruises: a transatlantic crossing from Southampton, England, to New York; and a cruise from New York to Florida.
The Liberty of the Seas is the second of three Freedom Class cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean International. With 15 passenger decks that can accommodate up to 4,375 guests and 1,360 crew, she is one of the world's biggest cruise ships. As of November 2015, The Liberty of the Seas sails the Caribbean from her main home port of Galveston, Texas.
