A light bulb diagram is a drawing showing the construction of a light bulb. A light bulb is a source of electric light that works through incandescence, which is the production of light as a result of heating the filament.
A light bulb diagram may be drawn for demonstration or academic purposes. Bulbs are made in various colors, designs, sizes and shapes from soft or hard glass. The parts of a light bulb include the glass, base, stem press, tie wires, filament, lead-in wires, button rod, support wires, fuse, heat deflector and gas. Each part plays a critical role in the proper function of the bulb.
