What is Lightroom?

Lightroom is an Adobe product that allows users to upload digital photographs and edit them in a number of different ways. The program comes as part of a package in the Creative Cloud solution, or it can be purchased as a standalone program.

Lightroom can be used as a downloadable program on a desktop computer, as a Web application and as a mobile application. The program allows users to adjust the tone, contrast, color and dimensions of the photo and also allows users to insert items from one photo into another. Users can also index their photos more easily and take their photo library wherever they go using the mobile applications.
