Do all liquids evaporate at the same rate?

Not all liquids evaporate at exactly the same rate. The type of liquid and the makeup of the liquid changes the liquid's rate of evaporation.
Factors that influence the evaporation rate of a liquid include the temperature of the liquid itself, the surface area of the liquid, pressure, the flow rate of the air surrounding the liquid, the concentration of the liquid and the concentration of other substances in the air. For a liquid to evaporate, the molecules must be near the surface. It takes heat to get many molecules to the surface of may liquids, and a soft surface area is necessary to release these molecules in a vapor form.
