Customers can locate health insurance agents through an agent membership organization, local insurance companies or the government health care website, notes the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), Sweeney and Sweeney Insurance and HealthCare.gov. Customers can learn more about the Affordable Care Act and coverage requirements through HealthCare.gov.
To locate health insurance agents through NAHU:
- Visit the website
- Click "Find an Agent"
- Search
Go to the NAHU website home page.
Click on the "Find an Agent" link.
Perform a basic search by inputting the ZIP code and radius, or perform an advanced search by inputting additional information, such as name, company name, certifications and practice areas, states NAHU.org.
To locate agents through Sweeney and Sweeney:
- Go to the website
- Click "Contact Us"
Go to the Sweeney and Sweeney website home page.
Click on the "Contact Us" link along the top navigation bar. Complete the required information within the "Get Started" text box, or utilize the address, phone number or email address to contact an agent.
To locate agents through HealthCare.gov:
- Visit the website
- Click "Contact Us"
- Click "Find Local Help"
- Search
Go to the HealthCare.gov home page.
Click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the home page.
Under the "Individuals & families, including self-employed" tab, click on the "Find Local Help" tab on the right side of the page.
Input the desired ZIP code or city and state and press enter.
