How long does it take to activate the Carmike rewards program?

Members can activate their Carmike Rewards cards by filling out a short form on the Carmike Rewards website. The form requires the member's card number, contact information, preferred location and creation of a user name and password.

Activating Carmike Rewards cards provides members with access to show times at their preferred theaters, transactions on their accounts and accumulated points. Upon activation, members can also sign up for the Carmike Rewards newsletter. Members earn 80 points for activating their cards on the website, as of 2015.

Carmike Rewards members earn one point for each dollar they spend on Carmike tickets and concessions. They can redeem points for concession items and tickets.
