How long do crickets live?
By Forinfos - 26/03/2026 - 0 comments
Crickets can live at least one year, but they do not survive through the winter in the outdoors. They inhabit many parts of the world and rely on warm temperatures for survival.
When cold weather approaches, crickets sometimes seek shelter in houses. They enter through cracks in the walls or improperly sealed doorways. Crickets can survive much longer indoors than outdoors, as they are not subject to natural predators or cold temperatures. They create noise that is often bothersome to people, and it may be hard to locate the crickets once they inhabit a building. Homeowners can avoid a cricket invasion by properly sealing foundation areas and crevices around the home.
