Fresh lemons can last on the counter for two to four weeks. If the lemons are refrigerated, they stay fresh for one to two months.
Cut lemons that aren't refrigerated must be used the same day. If the lemons are cut and placed in the refrigerator, they stay fresh for two to three days. Lemon juice in a resealable container stays fresh in the refrigerator for four to six months. Fresh-squeezed lemonade should be consumed the same day it is prepared if it is not refrigerated. If the beverage is refrigerated, it can be consumed for up to a week.
