Roundup Super Concentrate Tree Stump and Root Killer typically takes two to four weeks to kill a large tree stump. This product poisons the stump as it spreads through its vascular system.
Coniferous tree stumps require a mixture of 2 parts Roundup and 8 parts water. However, a mixture of 1 part Roundup and 9 parts water is more effective on deciduous stumps.
Roundup Super Concentrate Tree Stump and Root Killer requires a two-part application process. The first step involves diluting the product and brushing it over the top of the stump. After this, the remaining Roundup is poured into 1/4-inch holes drilled around the stump's top perimeter.
