What is the LPN NCLEX test?
By Forinfos - 11/02/2026 - 0 comments
The LPN NCLEX test is the National Council Licensure Examination for Licensed Practical Nurses. The test's purpose is to decide if it is safe for someone to start practice as an entry-level practical/vocational nurse. When someone passes the test, a state can grant a nursing license.
The LPN NCLEX test has four major categories and eight subcategories. Several nursing programs are based on medical models where students take surgical, medical, psychiatric, pediatric and obstetric classes, but all the content is integrated on the LPN NCLEX test. The test is mostly multiple choice, but there are fill-in-the-blank, hot spots, chart/exhibit and drag-and-drop questions.
