How do you make paper angels?

Paper angels are simple to make with white craft paper, pencils, scissors and markers. Since angels are fairly symmetrical, drawing half the angel's figure is enough to create a complete cut-out.

Step 1: Make the folds

Take the piece of paper and fold it in an accordion pattern. There should be around eight equal sections when the paper is expanded.

Step 2: Draw and cut the angel

Using either an online template or a sample, fold the paper in half, and draw the angel across the length of the folded paper — such that one end is the line of symmetry for the angel and the other is touching the end of the arm. Now, cut around the angel and expand.
