What is a site manager?
By Forinfos - 13/05/2025 - 0 comments
A site manager plans for the work on a construction site and supervises daily efforts. He checks that work is being completed safely and according to budget and quality specifications.
A site manager's efforts begin even before the work on a site is initiated. The manager hires or prepares staff and the site itself, sets up temporary offices on the site, and outlines the work that needs to be done. Large projects may have several site managers, each of whom is responsible for a specific aspect of the project. For example, one site manager could oversee plumbing, while another may supervise structural foundations. A site manager is sometimes called a construction manager, site agent or building manager.
