What is a Mandalorian armor?

Mandalorian armor is an armor worn by Madalorian warriors in the Star Wars universe. The first time the armor was introduced was in the film "The Empire Strikes Back," when it was worn by the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Mandalorian armor is valued for its durability and protection. The highest grade armor is made from beskar, a Mandalorian iron, and is resistant to lightsabers. Lower grade Mandalorian armor exists and features alum, duraplast or durasteel instead of beskar.

The armor is designed the same for males and females and gives a uniform appearance to all Mandalorian warriors. Since its introduction in "The Empire Strikes Back," Mandalorian armor has made many appearances throughout Star Wars media.
