How do you manually clean a Whirlpool oven?

Clean your oven with baking soda, white vinegar and a spray bottle. You also use water, rubber gloves, a small bowl, a spatula and a kitchen towel.

1. Gather your supplies

   Gather together 1/2 cup of baking soda, 3 tablespoons of water, a small bowl, white vinegar, a spray bottle, a spatula and a kitchen towel or dish cloth to clean your oven.

2. Empty your oven

   Remove racks and anything that you store inside of your oven.

3. Make a paste

   Mix 3 tablespoons of water and 1/2 cup of baking soda in a small bowl to form a paste.

4. Spread the paste

   Spread the paste over the walls and other interior surfaces in your oven. Do not coat the heating elements. Allow the baking soda paste to sit for about 12 hours.

5. Wipe the oven

   Wipe the baking soda paste out of the oven with a damp cloth. If the paste is difficult to remove, scrape it with a plastic spatula.

6. Spritz residue with white vinegar

   Pour white vinegar in a clean spray bottle. Spritz any remaining baking soda residue with the white vinegar and wipe clean.

7. Clean and replace racks

   Clean the oven racks and replace them in the oven.
