How many books did V. C. Andrews write?

V.C. Andrews herself wrote eight novels before her death in 1986. Though she has another eighty-two novels attributed to he, they were in fact written by her ghost writer, Andrew Neiderman.

The primary novels written by V.C Andrews herself are "The Dollanganger Series," the first novel of "The Audrina Series," and the first two novels of "The Casteel Series." Additionally, Andrews' first novel "Gods of Green Mountain" was written in 1972, but was published posthumously in 2004. There are at least four novels that were written by ghost writers, but may have been started or outlined by Andrews herself.
