The Pacific Ocean is estimated to contain 187 quintillion gallons of water. That quantity is equal to about one-third of the water of all the oceans.

The Pacific Ocean is by far the largest body of water on Earth, stretching from the Arctic in the north to Antarctica in the south with a maximum depth of more than 11,000 meters. The Pacific Ocean moves clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and counter clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. Its temperatures range anywhere from 29.5 F, which is below the freezing point of water, all the way up to 86 F near the equator.
