How many IRS government tax forms are there?

As of 2015, the Internal Revenue Service website contains 896 tax forms for taxpayers to view, download or print. Taxpayers find a list of these files by searching for the word "form" in the blank box, selecting Product number from the drop-down menu, and then clicking Find, according to IRS.gov.

Individuals sort these forms by product number, title, revision date and posted date thanks to column headings, notes IRS.gov. Interested parties may show 25, 50, 100 or 200 products on one screen at a time. Users click on the product number along the left column to view a specific form. Some forms allow individuals to input information before saving or printing.
