How many Lancia Stratos are there in the world?

According to AutoGuide, it's alleged that only 492 Lancia Stratos automobiles were built. Most of the 492 were built for rally racing not consumer use.

As for the consumer version of the Stratos, called the Lancia Stratos Stradale, AutoGuide states that there could be only about 140 completed autos in the world. Lancia built the consumer cars in the 1970s to satisfy racing league regulations requiring that a car used in competition not be built only for racing purposes. A 1976 Lancia Stratos Stradale featuring a Ferrari V6 engine went up for auction in 2012 with an estimated value of $330,000 to $400,000.
