Two of author Michael Connelly's books have been adapted into films. His novels "Blood Work" and "The Lincoln Lawyer" were adapted by screenwriters Brian Helgeland and John Romano, respectively.
"Blood Work" was released by Warner Bros. Studios in 2002. Academy Award-recipient Clint Eastwood directed and starred in the film. Supporting cast members included Jeff Daniels, Wanda De Jesus, Anjelica Huston and Tina Lifford.
Lakeshore Entertainment released "The Lincoln Lawyer" in 2011. The film was directed by Brad Furman and starred Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Haller. Other cast members included Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, William H. Macy, Bryan Cranston, John Leguizamo and Michael Pena.
