Michael Jordan won five regular season Most Valuable Player awards during his career with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan earned MVP honors for the 1987-88, 90-91, 91-92, 95-96 and 97-98 seasons.

Jordan was also voted the MVP of the NBA Finals four times, capturing the honor while leading the Bulls to four of his six championships, in 1990-91, 91-91, 95-96 and 97-98. The 14-time all-star was also voted MVP of the February classic in 1988, 1996 and 1998. Widely considered the best basketball player yet found, Jordan retired following his 2002-03 season with a career scoring average of 30.1 points per game.
