How many patients can the Togus veterans' hospital hold?

The Togus veterans' hospital has a total of 167 beds, 67 of which are for medical, surgical and mental health purposes. The other 100 bedsare housed in the hospital's nursing home. These are split evenly betweenskilled or longer-stay patientsand the Dementia Unit.
There is an emphasis at Togus on promoting outpatient care, rather than filling beds. Health care services include medical, surgical, psychiatric, dental, extended care and ancillary practicessuch as radiology, ultrasound, CT scans and general nuclear medicine.
As the oldest veterans' hospital in the United States, Togus is also the site of a cemetery containing more than 5,000 graves.
