According to the Kentucky Landlord Tenant Guide, there is no universally-recognized legal maximum on the number of people that can live in a two-bedroom apartment in the State.
The Kentucky Landlord Tenant Guide does specify that the landlord has the right to include a restriction on the number of persons allowed to occupy the premise, as tenants, in their lease, even though this is not strictly required by the law. A lease typically includes other items, such as: the dates that the tenant must start occupying and vacate the premise, the amount of the security deposit, and the responsibilities for utilities and repairs.
