Abigail Williams accused more than 20 people of witchcraft and was one of the first accusers to come forward. The majority of those whom she accused executed.

The infamous Salem Witch Trial claimed the lives of more than 150 people. In contrast to the number of times Abigail Williams accused someone of witchcraft, she was only accused of being a witch once by Joseph Hutchison. Abigail testified that she had seen some 40 witches outside of a neighbor's house engaging in a ritual of blood drinking. Many believe that Abigail began her path of accusations for attention, as she gained considerable influence and power through her accusations of witchcraft.
